Without neutering a male dog, yes he will have prostate enlargement as he ages and vets will suggest removal of his gonads to try and shrink the gland to enhance urination. Isn’t this exactly what happens to men as they age? Do we castrate older men? Uh, what is wrong with this picture? Old age comes with many health issues but we surely don’t remove all those unnecessary organs at a young age so that as they age they don’t have those problems! Geez…………medical/veterinary science is barbaric sometimes in their official capacity! Think about it.
